Study: Consumers Tend to Buy Electronics This Year, Less Like a Tour

A study of Retrevo recently showed that consumers
at the end of 2010 holiday season would prefer to buy
electronics and gadgets than they did a year earlier.

On the other hand they will reduce their costs for
walking tours than in 2009. Retrevo in October asked
1,000 respondents in the United States to obtain such information.

Retreveo find that recession is an
important factor in this election expenses with the
field of tourism which has the worst impact.

Approximately 17% to 23% of consumers said they
would reduce their expenditure for clothes and
electronics, but 28% said they would reduce their spending to the streets.

These reasons seem
reasonable because the cost to the streets even more
to give the impression to the family but to suck the
average cost is greater. Therefore, the cost was
reduced. On the other hand, many consumers who
said they were actually planning to spend more money than in 2009 and then on some goods, and one
of the most prominent are electronic. About 165
respondents said it will spend more for gadgets in this
year than last year.

Another interesting finding of this
study is that the tablet has become the most popular
gadget this year. When asked, most respondents said they would buy the iPad or other types of tablet than
other gadgets.

Does this mean the year 2010 to start
marketing the rise of tablets in the following years?
