Based on news from Digitimes, Apple iPad 2 will have five new features when compared to first generation iPad. This information is obtained by Digitimes from Chinese-language newspaper, Economy Daily News (EDN), which receives information from industry sources.
All five of these features are the video phone, the new display technology, three-axis gyroscope, better mobility, and USB support. Video phone could be the FaceTime that has been applied on Apple products ranging from Mac OSX to the latest generation iPod touch. New display technology that will be applied to estimated retinal display is like on the iPhone 4 and may Gorilla Glass.
Support 3-axis gyroscope is mounted on the iPhone 3 so this seems reasonable. Mobility better question is, does that mean a smaller size or lighter or even support for GSM-CDMA.To prove the additional five of these features seems to enthusiasts Apple iPad 2 should be patient until April 2011, when iPad 2 predicted to be launched.
